Net Lifetime Break-Even Price
Hi team, I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would add a lot of value for active and long-term investors. Feature idea: A “Net Lifetime Break-Even Price” metric for each holding. Definition: The price at which selling all currently held shares would result in zero net lifetime P&L, calculated as: (total cash invested – total cash already realised through sells, including brokerage) ÷ current shares held This metric would: Account for all historical buys and sells Reflect realised losses and gains correctly Help users understand when they are truly flat or profitable across their entire history with a stock beyond tax implications. Importantly, this would not replace existing averages or tax calculations, but would sit alongside them as a decision-support indicator. I think this would be especially useful for users who partially exit and re-accumulate positions over time, where traditional “average buy” figures can be misleading. Happy to provide feedback or examples if helpful. Thanks, Pat
