Title of Share Current or current at time of purchase if sold

I'm expecting that if I held a share for a period say FGL in 2005 that it should show Fosters Group not Frugl Group which it does today. Current Behavior You show the current name of a stock not the historical name if its an historical event. Possible Solution So if you look at delisted.com that lists all the old dead entities and prior names. When the name gets discontinued with the code perhaps you could archive the stock into custom with the old code and if the code gets re-used its in current. The issue would be you would have the same code in the database twice Any of the reused codes would work but FGL is the worked example I have Its a bit confusing when your expecting one thing but see another.. in reality its a low issue problem because the stock is not going to be listed the question is how do you manage the change?
