Incorrect assignment of historical symbols

When creating events such as merge on historical entries current stock look ups are enforced. For example an event that became ESS:ASX is interpreted incorrectly as ESS:NY even if "ESS:ASX" is entered. Working around by manually entering parcels as current ticker (in this case DVP) to ensure CGT and current state, but it means historical is inaccurate and potentially invalid (eg code does not exist in a past time point) which could create issues.
