Show the user that Cash Accounts can record settlements & dividends automatically
Cash Accounts could be far more up-to-date by using the data already in Navexa. I know this is venturing into double-entry Accounting, but I don't have a lot of 'interest' in using the Cash Account feature if I have to manually enter anything more than interest payments and capital transfers. Edit: Wow! I don't know how I missed that. And judging by the date on the screenshot, you did it years ago. So then this feedback becomes: how to make this feature more user friendly/visible. Actually I can see how I missed it - I do like to dig through settings screens to find out what software can do, but those settings are hidden unless the portfolio has a cash account. I would suggest two things: In the process of adding a Cash Account, add a message/label on the screen directing the user to the portfolio settings. In the portfolio settings disable instead of hiding the cash settings, with a label explaining a cash account is needed. Lastly - this development feedback software doesn't allow me to add a comment to an unapproved post, hence the edit.
